On a suitable structure which has vertical support at a maximum of 600mm centres, the  installer will fit the support rails, clip in the tiles and finish the joints with a pumped mortar.

Rows of profiled steel sections are fixed to the backing structure. Sections aree designed to interlock vertically.

2.Speed

brick-tiles are then simply clipped into place using a rubber mallet. The clipping process ensures that consistent horizontal joints are achieved, whilst vertical joint spacing can be adjusted to suit design requirements.

Once tiles are installed, and the area approved for qualityby the client, the installer will point the joints with a 1:1:6, cement:lime:sand mix which is applied using a pump system. Pre-bagged mortar is also available for use by installers. The preferrer joint profile is bucket handle.
